Destination Nowhere. 90 Miles North of Bangor right off route one lies the third largest lake in Maine. Bordering New Brunswick, Canada the lake is both lovely and untouched by most humans. Should be a huge tourist attraction but is mostly undiscovered so please don't tell anyone I like it that way. Cost = Priceless. This is my part time home. I miss the lake when I'm not there. • i miss this lake daily. grew up spending summers in forest city NB . i can picture the chain of islands on East Grand looking down from the hills . u seem like a familiar soul to me. i am happy for you

  • my family is from Danforth! I LOVE it up there! got a Camp on East Grand!!!

  • East Grand Lake is certainly beatiful, a testimony to God's creative power and glory. I have often taken my canoe out on a placid evening, with the moon shining in its strength, with the loons making their calls to each other, and it an experience few things can match. There's certainly a whole lot more to life than one's close proximity to the latest shopping mall!

  • wow it's so beatiful isn't it. i miss this place. i wish that i had appriciated it more wile i had it.
