If anyone is actually still a republican after witnessing all that has been going on the past 3 years, not to mention the previous 8 years! Well, they were either in a coma, on drugs, or just plain stupid if you still plan on supporting anyone in the GOP!!!! Our President has been trying to fix the economy, and create jobs, but the republican led congress either blocks everything he tries to do, votes the legislation down, or simply refuses to vote on it!!!! It is a given, Congress has to extend unemployment benefits, or several hundred thousand people will lose their homes, and they will be forced out on the streets by the same right wing supported lending institutions that helped created the economic mess that America is in now!!!! Yet, republicans are willing to add insult to injury if Democrats dont let them have their way!!!! WAKE UP AMERICA!! Vote out those tea party repubs who are using the middle class as a pawn in their quest for power!!

@hotrod4you2 The republicans are telling Democrats that they will extend unemployment benefits, and extend the payroll tax cut, if they push ahead the Keystone Pipeline project!! That tells me that republicans are not interested in helping the middle class, by giving us any tax relief!!!! It also tells me they dont care about what environmental impact that building that massive pipeline will incur, because many months of invironmental studies need to be done before construction begins!!!!

@hotrod4you2 No, conservatives are the ones who need to wake up!!!! It is the republican's refusal to work with Democrats that is causing the gridlock!!!! Obama is trying his best to fix the economy and create jobs, but he has a disfunctional republican led congress who refuse to work with him!!!! The GOP members have said on numerous occasions that their number one goal is to make Obama a one term president!!!! In 2012, we need to give him a Democrat majority in both houses of Congress!!!!
