those toyotas are actually rebranded vw taros , but nice mod.. the mercedes deisel is much more powerful than the orginal toyota/vw diesel in those....

You have your air intake right above the superheated turbo. Better make a heat shield.

Awesome, I'm doing the same swap and I've got a couple questions for you if you don't mind.

Is that a w56 trans and if so how thick is the adapter plate, 1/2 inch?

Did you use the stock toyota flywheel and pilot bearing, if so did you have to modify the pilot bearing?

Last question is did you change the gears in the rear end or are the stock gears (4.10?) ok for freeway speeds with this engine?

You may also use an Isuzu 4BC1 engine(used for Philippine jeepneys/jitneys) and maybe Mitsubishi Fuso or Nissan Diesel too.
