Sorry that it's not the whole episode and for the poor quality, it's an old tape...

Includes the cartoons:
Popeye - "Barking Dogs Don't Fite"
Daffy Duck - "Nasty Quacks"
Tom & Jerry - "Pet Peeve"

  • Oh, by the way: not that I wanna nit-pick or anything, but the Popeye's actually called 'Barking Dogs Don't Fite' (1949), as a quick IMDB or Wikipedia check will confirm. The whole thing's on YT, too, for those that wish to check it out. As a point of pedantry, did Rolf actually announce it under your title, or did you just make it up?!

  • @Maundervision No I didn't make it up, it's what came up when I did my initial search... but thanks for the corrections, I shall fix... :)

  • Got anymore Rolf Harris' Cartoon Time?

  • @jamesnoble07 Sorry, I only have the 2 partial episodes... :(

  • can you imagine how much those sheets of paper would be worth with rolf's cartoon drawings on, his paintings go for 75k upwards. they should bring a show like this back, my daughter would love it.

  • Wow a new Rolf's cartoon time...brilliant news...made my day:)

  • Sadly I wasn't alive at the time that this show was broadcast, but i had heard about it. Thank you so much for the upload :D

  • @UnionJack26 Oh cheers, don't worry about that - it's just great to see all this again! I'm sure I'll spend the rest of my life trying to work out what that cartoon with the wolf was in the other one you posted, anyway!

  • God, I'd forgotten how grim those 40s Popeyes could be (in comparison to the B&W 30s ones, I mean). I can very easily say, however, that both 'Nasty Quacks (Frank Tashlin, 1945) and 'Pet Peeve' (Hanna-Barbera, 1954) have long been among my all-time favourite cartoons, and with Rolf linking them: bliss. I should add, however, that 'Nasty Quacks' has been edited slightly to fit the slot; hunt around on YT & you should find it complete somewhere. Besides the point, though: thanks, Union Jack!
