I first saw VV in 1988, still one of the best shows ever. Their genre of music definately not for everybody...u gotta be one of the few 'special' fans to get VV

@JeffdetH Thrash wasnt famous? how about the heaviest band ever SLAYER! There are tons of famous thrash bands. anthrax, testament, megadeth, (early) Metallica, Lamb of God, and of course SLAYER!!!!

Re JeffdetH: If there was no 80's Thrash Metal,there would be no Lamb Of God or any modern act.Voivod was in a class of their own;innovators of their craft;they took their chances at what they did n are legends for that when it was all about Thrash back then n the fact that the genre struggled to be heard.Today's bands exist because of the efforts of those bands;who are being celebrated on a grander scale today.Everybody aspires to be the heaviest n fastest but who dares do what Voivod did?
