The defence teams representing the 3 Kenyan suspects at the ICC pre - trial chamber at today's initial hearing want immediate access to the evidence that ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo is holding against their clients. British lawyer Karim Ahmad Khan, representing head of Civil Service Francis Muthaura, lamented that the prosecution had not furnished the defence teams with copies of the evidence even though Ocampo held such information from mid - December last year. Abdi Osman reports.
@bensongutu: money buys you the best in this field...going to be a rough ride for the prosecution balancing his act.

Ha ha ha the lawyers of Uhuru/Ali/Mutheura will give Ocampo a run for his money, they seem like "no nonsense" professionals & Ocampo will have to prove his case well & good. I do not see a chance for him with his half cooked evidence from the NGO etc, etc. Things are beginning to look very interesting, we may eventually end up with the real suspects at the Hague.

Ocampo, did you supply the convicted pedophile Catholic priest you defended, Julio Grassi of 'Happy Children's Foundation', with cameras to identify where one of the little boy victims, Gabriel, was staying, just before he was attacked & beaten? Did you accuse the little boys of blackmail and bearing false witness?

This Ocampo (jehova of ODM party) is a very poor and inarticulate communicator.

It is clear that the Kenyan lawyers may not raise even a single statement at the ICC court room. Could be they only specialize in cases dealing with land grabbing and cattle theft.

Ocampo has started biting his tongue and eating words this early. His incompetence is slowly unfolding. I hear he a TV actor back in Argentina, he should consider being a prosecutor at Vioja Mahakamani.
