Michael R. Taylor, J.D., the first ever Deputy Commissioner for Foods at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), spoke to the gluten-free and celiac communities for the very first time at the Gluten-Free Food Labeling Summit on May 4 in Washington, DC. After a grassroots movement created by Jules Shepard and John Forberger titled "1in133" was launched in late March, it wasn't long before word about the campaign hit Capitol Hill and Washington, DC.

Mr. Taylor was all ears to hear the attendees comments and even stayed after his thoughtful speech to a enjoy a slice of cake from the world's largest gluten-free cake! Our team looks forward to speaking with Mr. Taylor again very soon and will soon share the necessary next steps so we can all finally review the definition of "gluten-free".

Recorded: May 4, 2011 at the Gluten-Free Food Labeling Summit

  • Government is hard work? Government is corruption and Taylor is a perfect example. He has a Monsanto tattoo on his ass. What a lying sack of shit. They haven't done one test on the safety of genetically modified foods. NOT ONE.

  • @ryguy86 Doesn't this guy have a bad reputation?

  • LIAR
