Ryan's Hope 12-14-88 Pt. 1

In our story, Zena notices that manager Rob is missing the night of The Walker Singers' big concert. Rob has hired a limo and tricked Delia into meeting him. Rob kidnaps her and tries to take her away to a secret retreat to win her back from Roger. Delia manages to escape and leaves Rob stranded. John Reid is furious to learn that Rob kidnaped his mother, and Roger also vows to find Rob and make him pay for he what he did. Rob's enemies also include Chaz, who hasn't gotten over Rob's attack on Nancy Don. Rob makes it back to New York and stalks Dee in her apartment building. Roger leaves the building but thinks he notices someone in the shadows. Later that night Rob is found unconscious in a coma, with a serious head injury, and is rushed to Riverside Hospital. Delia panics when Frank tells her that Roger had the motive and opportunity to attack Rob, and the DA's office has brought him in for questioning. First aired Wednesday December 14, 1988.
