The best free gas trick is to have a buddy who is a gas attendant activate the pump in diagnostics mode. He does this for the pump repairman and the transaction is recorded as a NO SALE. His boss may ask why he did it. He could just come up with something sly like the repairman was doing an unscheduled PM (preventative maintenance) on the pumps. But he'll prolly get fired eventually when the boss gets suspicious and checks the video tapes (LOL).
