Ian Clark comments on the recent Mexican swine flu scare and the real cause of disease, which men forget. The man and woman who embrace the eternal moral and spiritual laws enter into a citadel of safety and such worries, which vex the masses, fade from their life.

  • I think a chaste, vegetarian Muslim would be a highly perfected being.

  • &spiritual principles extend into the realm of food; which is why so many 'hindu' traditions and others, praise vegetarian living. My private favorites are the Gospel of the Holy Twelve (Nazirenes) and the Essene Gospel of Peace. GoThms 60-a Samaritan carrying a lamb-that person~around the lamb-so that he may kill it and eat it.-He will not eat it while it is alive, but only after he has killed it -the simple truth that one cannot follow the command:

    THOU SHALT NOT KILL:

    and still eat meat

  • Though we don't believe in this flu virus' existence or significance, we still believe that meat eating (insofar as it is gluttony, impurity, cruelty...part of making more karma) can be a grave danger. Look at the deserts the Muslims live in - the blighted inner state projecting out into the world. Thank you for your comments.

  • OH! How I love to read your prolife comments. You have such reason & logic, intelligence & love. Please continue to speak up for the lives of the precious unborn! God bless!

  • It's interesting that you send this to me now, because we are in the process of helping a Chinese baby come to birth right now. The mother has already given birth once (to twins), so it's illegal for her to birth and the state and her husband are trying to force her to kill him/her before birth. We are all working to save the child and thank you very much for your support. God bless you always.

  • i guess than that babies and children that get infected are either sinners or don't believe in god strongly enough

  • To say that they are sinners is perfectly correct. Souls are not created nor destroyed. Their soul has found a new home (in the baby) and carries with it the karma for its previous actions.

Can viruses really be established as the cause for a disease, when its presence does not always cause it? Doctors constantly fall back on the saying, "immune system". Yet this vague concept (which they cannot explain) is perhaps just another word for "karma".

  • im sure it really feels like your doing something good to spew a bunch of spiritual nonsense that has no ground in fact and absolutely no benefit to anyone except to make gullible people feel better about their own irrational beliefs.

but your doing the world a disservice. we dont need this fairy tale stuff anymore. you disgust me. science has doubled average life expectancy and saved millions of lives, and you have the gall to say your ancient superstition is superior.

  • The reason people in the USA are unhealthy is because of greed, not sin. Their medical care is profit-driven.

  • @DivineFellowship A baby dies cause there are other life forms striving for survival. Bacteria, virus, fungus, animal parasites... they are all complex lifeforms that are doing what their ancestors did: replicate.

We, today, have all the knowledge accessible about those biological process... why keep wandering through ancient ignorance?

    Karma is nonsense.

  • @heituzi Thinking about karma reduces anxiety. But it helps nothing in terms of finding solutions for diseases. Skeptical thinking is what developed our knowledge and how we created medicines, prevention, surgeries, radioactive treatments...

    "Karma" helps you.

    Science helps everyone.

  • @heituzi I think a sexy, bacon eater, atheist is probably a happy and useful person.

  • Amen!! And how dare ppl blame God for these things, read job!!
