@RheaHiryuu generally ive found that while some games areTOO easy, alot of them are just a reasonable challenge. one that is hard as hell, but not impossible. older games like castlevania, kings quest, etc were just so hard that it was basically no fun. id spend hours and hours on one small part, and eventually just have no reason to keep playing. remember this game was aimed at younger, not teen, audiences. alot of challenges were jus ridiculous things nobody would think of.

When I was a kid I solved King's Quest versions 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
6 and 7 were a bit too lengthy for me so I gave up and got a job.

It's funny how at every single part of this game someone is commenting on 'the strange pulling sensation', guess innuendo is universal XD
-
"have you thought of anymore of those BRILLIANT IDEAS of yours?" "Alexander suddenly feels a strange pulling sensation on his already low self-esteem"
-
I always like it when the Narrator says Alexander pulls out his magic map.

wow for all that hard work in getting the Lump of Coal, all i get is a a fucking Rotten Egg
-
lol
-
you could download it at Good Old Games
"Errr, eh, thanks." XD
This game had some pretty funny dialogue at times. Then again, I'd react the same way to being given a rotten egg for a lump of coal. :o

The Kings Quest games were among the first visual computer games of their kind to be made because Kings Quest I was developed as a means of showing off the 'new' color abilities that computers were developing, so the whole premise of them was developed long before games 'mollycoddled' you and always ensured you never got completely stuck and pretty much held your hand through the whole thing. Yeah, it's annoying as crap, I agree, but there's still something to be said for the classics. ^ ^
