  • Salafiyyah is not a sect it is a manhaj (methodology). A sect is sticking to a certain group blindly and not accepting any other way. For example someone says, "I am hanafi" and therefore if there is a correct opinion amongst the hanbali manhaj he won't accept it, because he is "hanafi" and they are "hanbali." Salafiyyah is the methodology that we follow the prophet (peace be upon him and his companions, those who followed, and those who followed them. The best of the ummah.

  • how can it be shirk if the proh muhamed (p/b.u.h) kissed the stone ?

  • @thegthang23 the prophet didnt call himself salafiyah. shouldnt we just follow the quran and sunnah and call ourselfes muslim because thats what the prophet did.isnt it haram to call yourself shia, sunni and all the rest.

  • @110110110786 Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) kissed Al-Hajar Al-Aswad; he addressed it saying: "I know that you are just stone that does neither harm nor benefit. Had I not seen the Prophet (peace be upon him) kissing you, I would not have kissed you.
