13 verses explicitly state why God destroyed Sodom/Gomorra and not a single one mentioned homosexuality. How dare Americans put their hand on the Holy Bible in court and swear to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth, and lie like a rug about what God says about homosexuality by reading partial biblical stories?

By denying to a minority the right to commit, Christians are pushing such minority to promiscuity. People who support a ban against gay marriage support promiscuity.

Homosexual temptation, like any temptation, is not sin in itself. Sin is giving in to the temptation by participating in the homosexual act or fantasizing about it. In Romans chapter 1, homosexuality is referred to as perversion. Many people believe that they were born homosexual and can do nothing to change it. According to Scripture, every person is born with a sin nature! We each have a propensity toward different types of sin but are called by God to leave our sin nature behind.

Askg7, homosexuality was NOT the issue...Look at the scripture you posted..."all the people from every quarter" indicates that ALL the people mobbed outside of Lot's home (not just men)...This indicates an angry mob. It is also HIGHLY DOUBTFUL that ALL of the men of the city were gay.

They wanted to harm Lot's guests, pure and simple...They wanted to rape them...Not have sex with them.

Romans 1:26-27 also DOES NOT condemn homosexuals...it DOES condemn heterosexual people who abandon their natural "in-born" desires and having relations with people of the same sex.

You're both incorrect about Leviticus, it does not condemn homosexuality...it contains laws written for the early Jews to live by. The section you mention babytoober, 18:22 refers to male on male sexual practices being used by other cultures in pagan rituals and the text forbids Jews to do the same as their neighbors.

As I said, it does not condemn homosexuality, but it's use in worship...Period.
