  • Great speech! Thank you for sharing it!

  • i lovoe the speech because it connects so well with what she often speaks of and the audience is the perfect to give this information to. if someone like maryl says it´s ok, then you believe it. as a woman in her early twenties i feel vety enlightened by her speech at bernard.

  • Such an inspiration.

  • @ Jmmlse

I also believe this, the speech is very touching and she feels with these girls. I'm sure, she cries, she is one of them.

  • I'm about to graduate in like a month and thanks to her I finally realise what's about to happen to me. I love her so much!!!

I bet not one of my teachers (or any other person in the world) could put a 10th of the emotion into a speech like she just did, I almost started crying!!!

  • interesting how she ties the speech in with the causes she fights for ;)

  • Thank you coconutmilk83, ARE you the camera person? "Empathy" is the essence of her speech? If it is , sorry to say this is easier said then done, put yourself in other shoe, mean being hurt and disappointed, but the end result could be another "Ms Streep" or better, but she is also a product of nature (gene) not only nurturer, as Paul Neman once said "i am lucky i won the genetic lottery"

  • One of the best speeches I have ever heard! She's such an inspiration. Love her to death!
