Amy Goodman reports from the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Cancún, Mexico, where the media center is eerily quiet. At last year's climate meeting in Copenhagen, the room was buzzing with thousands of reporters. However, today climate change seems to be a forgotten story. Democracy Now! reviewed the transcripts of last week's evening news broadcasts on ABC, CBS and NBC in the United States. The Cancún talks were not mentioned a single time.

@jb2386 i do live on the coast and its great and theres been no significant change in a hundred years and wont be for a hundred more. in the sixties your very same climate experts said we would be in an ice age by now. when they flip flopped in the eighties they said we would be underwater by now from warming. how many times can "experts" be wrong before they lose there "expert" status. and how many times do "conspiracy theorists" have to be right before theyre called "expert".

Real journalists don't like to associate themselves with bullshit. These meetings are nothing more then a free tax payer financed vacation for those who still have the stomach to participate in this worldwide fraud.
