@Gigamonkey2 genesis was based on an early revision of the arcade 1.7, thus the new additional fatality, special moves, sounds, and new animations were removed. It has more animation than the SNES version, but less vibrant color. There is also an exclusive Easter Egg on the Cheat menu that says "Okay, right?" When this is selected, if the player chooses Diablo, his followers will be replaced with a Devil that uses the head of Probe Entertainment's former CEO and founder, Fergus McGovern.

my friend and I were ice fishing today on the lake i live on, ran an extension cord from my house with a splitter to run my small TV and my super nintendo on a little table and we played primal rage (and a little battletoads) all day while ice fishing and drinkin a couple brews. talk about a good time lol

MK fanboys are always dogging on this game. In terms of playability, its fantastic; far from the other broken fighters during that time. Once you master the moves and combos, this game gets pretty fucking elite. This game can fight faster than SF. Highly underrated. Ignore all the bullshit and play it. Fond memories...
