Harvest Moon: Magical Melody - Flower Festival

Date: Spring 24
Location: Town Square
Place any Flower in the collection bin in the Town Square during the week before the festival to make it happen.

The Flower Festival is so pretty, and you get to meet Lyla too. Yay!

Dude, Ray doesn't understand the awesomeness of pretty flowers. D= How sad... He's still the perfect guy - he DOES appreciate some of the other little things in life. Like the constant flow of rivers (Star Festival), the health of the fish in the sea (Harvest Festival)... Just not flowers. =(

...Hahaha, Jamie "hate peeple"! xD That's one of my favorite Jamie quotes ever, for some reason; the typo makes it all the more awesome. It IS sad though. I guess after the Goddess turned to stone, it was cruel irony to worship statues of her. o.o;; But it seems like no one but Jamie (and Maria kind of says something about it when she attends) even knows what happened!

I'm not quite sure about cultural context in this festival, but it may be a reference to the ever-popular Japanese "hanami" - the annual cherry blossom (sakura) viewing in spring - and the related flower-viewing festivals of the season that are so important in Japan. =)

1. Nope, not in Magical Melody. In other HM games (like Animal Parade) you CAN wear rings and brooches, but in MM accessories just for profit and for completing your shipping list.

2. Toddler stage. The baby is born, then it learns to walk, and that's it. Again, they can grow bigger in other games. ...

3. Well, I think I got mine at GameCrazy and GameStop, respectively, and WalMart might also be a good place to try. But recently I've been having a hard time finding them in stores (even though I already own the games, I always look to make sure HM is getting the respect it deserves on the display shelves, and usually... it's not ._.). Maybe you could ask the people at those game stores, though, if you could order the games through them or something. Good luck!

No, Harvest Moon is generally a 1-person roleplaying game. More than one person can save separate files for the same game, but only one can play at a time (I hope that makes sense). HM: Magical Melody actually does happen to include some extra minigames that can be played by up to 4 people, but the minigames aren't really comparable to the experience of the game itself.

I was about to go to the flower festival when Tim came back to town. After that cutscene Pregnancy was announced. Last but not least I got Joe's 2 heart knock-knock and a fish. Harvest moon is not happy that my girl wants to go to the flower festival!
