Stanley Kubrick held the reputation of being one of cinema's most exacting perfectionists. His meticulous manner of directing was reputed to be a point of strife for the cast and crew of many of his films; none more so than his horror film classic The Shining which according to legend holds the Guinness World Record for most takes of a scene. Now for the first time here is a new, never before released documentary chronicling the making of the film, featuring exclusive footage from the set including the dailies from the infamous record breaking incident.

@TheMovieCountdown As I said in the description I certainly did not mean any disrespect to Kubrick. I could not be a bigger fan of the man. I wouldn't have spent the time making the video if I wasn't.The Kubrick I portray is obviously a gross exaggeration and not meant to be wholly accurate, but I wouldn't say it was the opposite of how he was. If you watch any Making of of his films you'll see plenty of people describing how trying working with him could often be. I wasn't making everything up.
