  • Why don't these "experts" ever know to do things properly?

    The wheel is on the edger for a reason.

  • @xpstou Yes. The edger is mostly for drive or walkways where you need a clean edge. The weed eater or string trimmer is for reaching areas your mower can't reach, like around poles or up against your house.

  • mine has a wheel and it seems to just cut trenches. What am I doing wrong?

  • Yea. You can use a weedeater/weedwacker as an edger. IF you knew how to control it properly.
