A rendition of the Shire theme composed by Howard Shore for the Lord of the Rings movies.

I watched The Two Towers yesterday and the Fellowship of the Ring the day before that and I have to say the movie has such a great energy...this is my way of sharing / expressing some of that energy =)

Played on a Clarke original tinwhistle in D.

  • Please , please can you send me the notes , anithing I just want to play it!!

  • @molonlabestermopilae There's a link in the description. The tabs are on there.

  • Anyone have the piano sheets for this :) I looked everywhere but I can't seem to find any free sheets for this! I'm completely broke :(

  • @superLOTRgirl I came up with an arrangement for piano, but I don't have a piano where I live atm. I have the sheets for the melody on my site though. From the top off my head the chords are x2 { D D G F#m A } For the 2nd (high) part try D A Bm F#m A

    It's really nice on piano

  • Could you post the notes in a beginner

  • @GreenDragonsVEVO They filmed in New Zealand.

  • Can someone tell me where is Shire in real world ? What place ?

  • Which font did you use?

  • @molonlabestermopilae

if you only want the start and you can read letters:

    D E F A F E D F A B D' C A F G F E _ D E F A F E D F A B A F E D

try blow alot softer on the last D .

  • get so high and listen to this. Supernatural experience

  • I really feel so warm when I heard this song

  • Thanks your tabs I can play this beautiful song with my diatonic harmonica D. It's bit hard find a tin whistle here in Brazil. It's a really nice sound in my harmonica. I only have doubt on the part of 0:18 - 0:25, maybe it isn't on the tabs, or I am too dumb to see, hehe. But I gonna make it. Thanks, man! Great job!! (sorry about any english mistake)

  • This is awesome. Probably the best tune i ever heard of!

  • 27 people are... 27 people
