@BondFreek we've seen so many explosions in movies that they aren't inherantly exciting anymore.
To name one smalll thing, which actually is the only thing I can think of at the moment: I enjoyed sulu's collapsable sword thing and his skill with it.

@waldoman7 I think you posted to the wrong person by mistake. I agree with you 100% about how bad Star Trek XI is, both as an individual film and as a Star Trek film. I was not kidding when I said "It took me 3 days to watch the whole movie" It felt like 3 Years! I hate Star Trek XI so much that I call it Star Crap.

suspend belief? that alone wouldn't be enough. I was no big Trekker when I saw it and didn't have any expectations yet I was still either annoyed or bored for every moment. I could point out things that were bad, like how you couldn't sympathize with kirk because he didn't have a single decent trait, or how the music was ALWAYS in EPIC CLIMAX NOW mode and left you emotionally desynsitized, but the real question is what was GOOD? Name one enjoyable aspect.
