You are 100% accurate on everything you said. I am an asthmatic and the proair does not work. In fact it makes my breathing worse. Not to mention the so called 200 ct inhalations they claim when in reality you are lucky if you get 20-30 inhalations at best. I have tried explaining this to my doctor but since he is not asthmatic he acts like he has never heard of these complaints. That's BS. Its like no one cares and that is what is really sad. I don't know what to do either,

I also hate all the hoops you have to jump through to get allergy pills anymore.

that is a piece of shit inhaler 2 puffs doesnt even help, I take 4-6 puffs and that doesnt even help, need to take out my nebulizer

I'm honestly fearing for my life after the new year. I rely on primatene because the HFA inhalers make my asthma worse. Not to mention i dont have health insurance.

Get political and run for office. Just a thought.

This sickens me. I have MTHFR and cannot convert homocysteine into methionine needed for dumping toxins out of the body. Many people with MTHFR are asthmatics. People with MTHFR are seeing the same problems. We cannot handle synthetics and are dying because the words heavy metal poisoning are taboo and we need natural active forms of vitamins to survive and IV EDTA chelation. You should read my dr.'s book Rackateering In Medicine. James P Carter. Keep fighting the good fight.

I have spring time allergies which trigger my asthma and every spring I do research to see where we are with bringing back CFC inhalers and every year I see we are going no where with it. What I find messed up is that I am using a CFC inhaler that expired in 2006 and 2 puff's of that helps more than my new HFA ProAir... Fortunately I was that guy who always lost my inhalers so I have a nice stock pile of CFC but my concern is what will happen when I run out...

I didn't have asthma before 2009, so I've never used the old inhalers. Must agree though, the new ones don't work. I'm also on QVAR which is over $80 a month, so I spend $120 almost every month just on breathing.
Thanks to all who have commented. This didn't have to happen. We are being robbed, extorted by the drug companies. If a drug company wants to make a bunch of money so they go and find a cure for ALS or cancer- then fine. But this is just a quick profit for no good reason.
Also two important points: the 'checks and balances' failed. Govt. failed to protect us and our lobbyist- the American Lung Association- was bought off or didn't care. Do NOT support the ALA.
