Nick: *Walks into the school with Demi next to him* Never thought i'd say this, but i'm glad to be back here!

Demi: Me too! I mean, I love aunt Layla and all... but I missed everyone!

Nick: It was only a week, calm down.

Demi: Oh shut up.

*They both go to their lockers*

Selena: *Runs up to them* Demi! Nick! You're back!

Nick: Yep.

Selena: *Huggs Demi*

Demi: *Huggs back but hears a sniffle* Sel? Do you have a cold or something?

Selena: *Huggs her tighter and sounds like she's crying* Uh... yeah. A cold.

Demi: Sel, what's going on? *Trys to pull away but Selena doesn't let her*

Nick: *Walks behind Demi and sees Selena crying.* Selena... whats wrong?

Selena: *Pulls away from the hug* Uh... nothing. I'm just so happy to see you guys! *More tears roll down her cheeks*

Demi: Selena, you're my best friend. You can tell me anything.

Selena: It's nothing, really, I'm fine. *Walks away*

Demi: *Turns to Nick* What's going on with her?

Nick: *Shruggs* Maybe it's that time of the month?

Demi: *Pushes him* Shut up.

Nick: Oh here comes Joe.

Joe: *Walks by*

Nick: Hey Joe. Whats up?

Joe: Nothing... leave me alone. *Keeps walking*

Nick: *Looks at Demi* What's his problem?

Demi: *Mocking Nick: Maybe it's his time of the month?

Nick: *Laughs a little* You never know with Joe.

Demi: *Laughs* Come on let's get to class.

*Lunch*

Nick: *Walks up to Joe.* Hey J.

Joe: *Looks at him with a sad look on his face and walks away*

Nick: *Walks off after him* Hey? Whats going on?

Joe: *Looks back after him* I'm sorry dude... I, *Thinks for a second* I've got something to do. *Walks away*

Nick: *Standing there confused*

Demi: *Walks up to Nick* Wat cha doin?

Nick: *Turns to Demi* First Selena, then Joe. They're hiding something from us.

Demi: Gee... I don't know. My best friend crying on the sight of me and your best friend avoiding you? No that's their normal selves.

Nick: Hey! Hey! Stop it with the sarcasim!

Demi: Sorry... I know, I'm just worried about them...

*After school*

Nick and Demi:*Walk up to the door and see a note.* [ Running some arrands. Sorry it's taking so long. I'll be back soon. Love you guys - Mom.]

Nick: *Looks suspisiosly at Demi then opens the door*

*They both walk in*

Demi: *Drops her backpack* What do you think she's really doing?

Nick: I don't know... maybe she's got some deadly disease and she's getting in checked out.

Demi: *Looks at him* Seriously, what are the odds of that?

Nick: Maybe she's getting groceries.

Demi: That's better.

Nick: I'm going to call Joe and see if he's over what ever he was doing. *Sits down on the couch*

Demi: Ok. *Sits down on the couch with him*

Nick: *Calls Joe*

Joe: *Answers* Hello?

Nick: Hey dude what's-

Joe: *Hangs up*

Nick: ...up? *Hangs up* He hung up on me.

Demi: *Sigh* Let me call Selena. *Grabs the phone from him and dials Selena's number*

Selena: *Answers* Hello?

Demi: Sel!

Selena: Oh... hey Demi. *Sounds sad again*

Demi: Sel... you can tell me anything.

Selena: *A tear rolls down her cheek and she hangs up*

Demi: *Hangs up and looks at Nick* What's up with them? She just hung up on me.

Nick: *Shruggs*
