Very, very nice! As a lifelong Sherlockian, I am compelled to say that Jeremy Brett's work as Sherlock Holmes is standing the test of time very well indeed! This thoughtful, affectionate compilation makes an excellent case for Jeremy Brett as the definitive Sherlock Holmes. Many thanks!

i agree with louisecp72 : a very few men on the world are gracefull. And i don't care if JB was gay or bi or wathever. He was THE perfect Holmes and will remind like that in my soul.
Wonderful music, i was near to cry...

Jeremy reminds me of Bear Grylls...anyway it feels like an end of an era for me that i've almost finished the entire collection! I will miss it...

@louisecp72 He looked like a chain smoking homosexual nutcase.

Beautiful video. Not many men have such grace and beauty, do they?
-
@JuanMacready Nope, Anna Massey did not name the man who Jeremy went off with. It definitely wasn't Gary, that happened several years later. Facts matter, don't they?

Really love this!
Thanks to everyone who has commented recently, very gratefully received :) Long may JB be remembered!

Thanks to everyone who has commented recently, greatly appreciated and I'm glad you like it :)
To JasperAbraxxious, I have not seen Ian Richardson's portrayal of Holmes but I shall be sure to check it out. I do feel though if you look at the illustrations in the Strand magazine, there is an uncanny resemblence between Jeremy Brett and the drawings of Holmes by Sidney Paget. I suppose Brett portrayed Holmes how he thought best and for that I think he did an excellent job. Best wishes to you :)

The music suits the video and is so evocative also because it is a "remake" of the wonderful "Pavane" (1887) op. 50 by Gabriel Fauré.
A pavane is a mourning dance.
A fine tribute to JB.
