@valhala56 And what I meant to say is that all those men believed god was giving them their ideas. Well Nikola tesla believed it was aliens but their is a similar theme among many people. Also I'm a musician and I know and have heard many other musicians talk about when they're creating music it feels like its coming from somewhere else. Like I said this could all be rubbish but its fun to speculate and wonder...

@valhala56 that maybe our brains are like antennas and they're receiving consciousness. Obviously this could be wrong but I know I live in a big city and when ever I get to go to my cottage and get away from the rat race and spend some time in the peace and quiet its like my mind is on steroids and I can think much clearer and much more efficently. But who knows right, I wanted to ask you said that once believed something similar , What do you believe now ???

@valhala56 Well another thing that let me to that is I studied world religions and I noticed a similar theme. Literally every single "Prophet" went out to the desert or the forest and stayed there by themselves and thats when they received their visions from god. Also many great mathematicians, scientists and inventors ranging from George cantor, Leonardo da Vinci , Nikola Tesla all believed God or something was telling them this just like the "Prophets" And I sort of reached the conclusion

@JG129 That is along the lines of a Buddhist construct which I used to subcribe too. They use term awareness. My cat is aware like you say a dial at a somewhat low end. He is too stupid to be aware of much more then what is in our house and is totaly clueless what is a vast universe. His universe is one small house. Probaly best to keep it that.

@valhala56 I know its not the most popular point of view but I have a feeling that consciousness isn't created by the brain. I think consciousness is in everything. Its not a matter of having consciousness or not. I think its more like a 1-10 dial and some things have it more than others. Of course this could be total rubbish, But just a feeling I have...

I've always wondered if perhaps the universe of matter is not "out there" but inside of us. And somehow all of the "in heres" of created beings are united as one by sensory input. Carl Jung spoke of the "collective unconscous." Jesus said, "The kingdom of heaven is within you." Today, scientists speak of the "multiverse" as a collection of universes. But this multiverse may only exist within. Beyond could be the "omniverse," and this is perhaps the realm of God.

This is extremely incomplete, before your existance the universe as far as you were concerned did not exist, after you exist, as far as you are concerend the universe ceases. So in mind the Universe is a construct of my conciouness, and when I am no longer concious it will cease. What do you think?
