I am waiting to see what action is taken against this "artist" for his bigotry and slander of everyone in this town and those whose religious beliefs and culture he mocks?  If this had been perpetrated against any other cultural group there would be outrage.

Surely it is merely a tongue-in-cheek song? - Being a Rangers fan myself, some fans need to lighten up and accept a joke - It's not like we are strangers to sectarian chants & songs?

@DrumsagardLoyal The song is 30 years old ya tadger. He didn't write it to be used in schools, it was chosen by the education dept to show perspective. Something of which, you clearly have none. He lived near Larkhall and was writing tongue in cheek about his experiences, which 30 years ago, wasn't too far from what's described.

The biggest ignoramus on here is you.... and I've been a Larkhall resident nearly 10 years. Away back under your rock and wallow in you fake outrage all by yourself.

i've been to the Applebank for lunch once, lovely place with great views, played in the Larkhall Masonic and had a great night there too, they all came in their kilts and danced all night, and we are a Scottish Folk/Ceilidh Band, it was the best night i've had in the central belt, they showed themselves to be perfectly normal that night, it's just a shame Scotland couldn't be like that every night, it would be a better country.

@DrumsagardLoyal Explain lack of education? I feel you are going down the 'I blame the (catholic) schools' route used by so many Neanderthals. For the record, I am not a Catholic. None of my family are. I was educated in non-denominational schools from primary until I left high school when I was 17, many moons ago. You feel protestants are being marginalised? Get a grip catholics and protestants are cut from the same cloth, it's hardly Israel /Palestine. You saying you know Larky better than me?

What he is displaying is your perspective, and that is one twisted by ignorance. The outrage isn't fake - it's concern that one significant section of our population is marginalised and demonised by people like you. Of course I won't hide under a rock.
