my project to make a in car vhf to uhf crossband repeater so when away from the car i can still get radio calls via a uhf handheld, radios are kenwood tk-7180 and motorola gm300, a easier way to do this is just use 2 gm300 and a bidirectional cable from ebay. got main infor from pyramid svr 200 infomation sheets on radio pinouts and settings, i will do another video once installed.

  • @BlackGoldEstates vhf always better for distance, uhf for city coverage

  • @RdamShqip its small because its a uhf stubby antenna on the gp300, i would go with vhf
