I had the pleasure of spending almost 2 months at Ramashala in 2010. There aren't many places to stay that are literally right up the road from the flowing lava. Ramashala is absolute paradise, with fantastic full size yoga studios and fruit trees all around. Also one of the most spectacular secluded, coastal drives I have ever seen.
You will probably have your mouth open more than half the time you drive around the area. Absolutely stunning all around!
