Enter is a user environment for JavaScript. It gives you a handle on data itself, the intangible matter we take for granted every day. Usually, it's through the web. JavaScript is an unexpected golden land of possibility. Enter is a singular attempt to provide an interface to the really interesting (and structured) data all around us.
It runs in all modern browsers: Firefox, WebKit, Opera, IE8 and above. You can copy and paste JSON-like data (basic Arrays) in and out of it, on a world- or local- basis. Text based in and out means you can share structure, URLs, and even small programs with your friends, and know what they will see when they open the message.
Enter is a small window on the future of JavaScript, a string-literal wonder whose inventor, Mr. Eich, should be given a statue, an endowment, a firm handshake, and a professorship in the global village of his choice. :D
Enter is designed to be free of private copyright. It is a constructor-brick way of thinking about and running JavaScript. Somebody please approach the microphone and tell us how to make it free software.
