In the summer of 2010, AAUW branches across California banded together to sponsor hundreds of 8th grade girls in order for them to attend Tech Trek, a math and science camp for girls. The objective of this program is to encourage these bright young women to pursue math and science with a new vigor and to continue with these pursuits in college and future careers.
This video documents the journey of those sent to the two camps held at the prestigious Stanford University, Camp Marie Curie and Grace Hopper. A total of 172 young women were sent to these two camps alone.

I saw my dorm mates alot but I didn't see myself anywhere in the video :( Tech trek was such a great experience though! I LOVED IT! miss you guys: Aseel, Cinea, Sara, Cindy (my roomie :) Star,Camille and everyone else! Love you guys! -Carly

Tech Treck was the best thing ever! I looked forward to it all summer and it went by so fast. I REALLY WISH I COULD GO AGAIN!!! :)
