Bachmann Won't Answer Questions From Local Media Or Constituents

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is the national voice of the republican party, regularly appearing on big network talk shows. Gov Tim Pawlenty even says that she is the voice of the mainstream conservative movement. But when Michele Bachmann comes home to her district things work a little differently.

It took 18 months for Michele Bachmann to hold her first public forum in her district. At the forum Bachmann read a brief statement and introduced a guest speaker. Prior to the event an announcement was made that Congresswoman Bachmann would not be taking questions and that all questions were to be directed to the guest speaker.

Bachmann was rushed out of both events by her staff and security. She refused to take questions form multiple local media outlets and would not answer any questions from her constituents.

It seems that Michele Bachmann's talk of revolution and being armed and dangerous really only apply when she's out on the national shows. She appears to be toning it down for the folks back home.

When Michele Bachmann runs her mouth she tends to say dangerous things. Things, perhaps, she doesn't want her constituents to know she said.

How did this Representative of the people get away with this? This woman almost never answers questions all I see is her reciting and parroting right wing rhetoric. Please check out the You Tube video of her attempting to give a history lesson on the "Hoot-Smalley Bill" on the House floor, it would be funny if not so pathetic. I would like to know if her views on AmeriCorp have changed now that her son Harrison is working with them?

Michelle Bachmann, produce some facts please. You claimed that FEMA has “death camps” that are operational. Where are they? Please provide exact state, city, street, and zip code. How many personnel? Who is the commanding officer? As a U.S. Senator if these camps do indeed exist you have the power to call for an official investigation. You can also draw up a Bill to defund them and close them.
