Once again we have a lunar transit of the sun as seen from SDO. Once again the ususal suspect are claiming the event was due to a space station or Planet X.

This is not the case. The last time this happened was on December 6, 2010.

The same claims were made then.

I have included here video from SDO AIA 304 that shows the lunar transit of the Sun and some video from Celestia an astronomy program that allows me to view the transit from SDO.

I should state that the current co-ordinates I have for SDO may be off a bit so the perspective is a bit difference but you still get a clear picture of the transit.

For the record are the current co-ordinates I am using for SDO:

EllipticalOrbit {

Period 0.997269632

SemiMajorAxis 42164.140

Eccentricity 0.0

Inclination 28.5

AscendingNode 200.3

ArgOfPericenter 39.9

MeanAnomaly 159.0

Epoch 2455239.5

}
