I really hate when people tell me this movie is old and it's effects dull. This scene, when you really get to see the actual t-rex, still makes me want to clap my hands like I did when I was a kid.

@dekdk11 Well, a new analysis shows that T-Rex was actually significantly larger than we thought - in the 9 to 10 ton (18,000 to 20,000 lb) range for Sue - thats 2 to 3 tons heavier than expected, as well as taller and longer (didnt account for the tissue between bones in living animals, which adds up). So V-Rex isn't all that much bigger after all (though is still obviously bigger at 25 feet tall). My biggest issue with the movie is that if a Rex the size of V-Rex bit Kong, it would end him.

That's because in a lot of scenes, they didn't use shitty CGI, they used a full scale animatronic T-Rex!

@Casarzino yes. In the movie, the V-Rex is supposed to be what the T- Rex would have evolved into by 1930, if they hadn't gone extinct. V - Rex is bulkier than the T - Rex.
