usually stuff like the gigls saying "cigarettes" is cut from TV I do HATE old classic cartoons censored for no reason Toons these days are 100X WORSE than anything Tex did

Hell yeah, this cartoon was my favorite growing up. I can see why I'm the way I am now. Hahaha.

Tex Avery caroons were always my favs ..... especially the ones with the hott girls :D

The whole Hays Office staff must have been on vacation when Tex made THIS one! The comment that these cartoons were "made for kids" is actually wrong, they were made as the opening attractions for feature films patronized by adults. It's not likely that Dr. Sigmund Freud ever saw an animated cartoon, but he would have had a field day analyzing this one! Tex is one of my heroes. Like his "crazy darnfool duck" (Daffy), he'd try anything. The animation of Red by the great Preston Blair is immortal.

You think this is bad, you should've seen what Avery originally had planned for an ending: Grandma and the wolf have a shotgun wedding and half-wolf half-human kids!

I remember seeing a black and white picture of the shotgun ending in an animation book. It had a caricature of Tex avery.
