You can tell by that first hug that Lucas didn't want to let go. He probably would have prolonged it even more if Brooke had'nt pulled away.

You know how Mark is all pro leyton, well he always was. He saw there chemistry, (Chophia) and how amazing they where together but he wasn't expecting this much of a take to them. The Network told him to get Brucas together again because it made them more known when Chophia got together. But yeah i can understand. I mean that whole thing a long time ago she said " See him, where able to be friends because brucas isn't happening" that was season 5, 08-09 i think. But yeah it still sucks though.

@foreverloved35 lol I see why everyone is blaming Mark, but honestly I think when Chad and Sophia started dating, Mark saw their chemistry and wanted to focus on Brucas more in Season 2 and 3. If you see in Season 2 brucas has more moments than Pucas! - (bleh!) But anyway, I guess us fans have to be understanding. They were married. And imagine Sophia's heartbreak about the divorce thing and the cheating! I know if I was her I wouldn't want to be intimate with my cheating ex-husband either.

now that i'm watching it again, i'm really pissed. at first i thought that lucas always getting in the way of her and the cute dr, meant that brucas were going to be endgame. if mark always meant pucas, then he shouldn't have lucas ruin all hope for the cute dr, look how disappointed ethan looks when luke hugs her. poor brookie, always meant to get the short end of the stick and be alone, no hope of any decent guy. stupid mark :((
