Dr. Thomas Kellander, Director of Neo-Kinematics, is in charge of a machine that will break down matter to electrical waves so it can be transmitted like radio and reassembled at the reception point. Contact has been made with the Planet Chromo and arrangement reached where Chromo will send one of its inhabitants to Earth and we will send a man to Chromo in the interest of science. But the Chromite is actually on a mission to test the Earth's environment to see if Chromites can live here and thereby start on an exodus to this planet. The chromite discovers that the bread-like substance he assimilates as food grows readily on Earth and, after killing a guard and a scientist, prepares to send for his "people" when he is finally captured.

  • Ok, I had forgotten about this monster...pretty nasty for it's time. I think us older folks loved these shows because we weren't quite disillusioned with today's special effects, blue/green rooms or computer generated gore. So kudos to The Outer Limits for scaring the crap out of me long time ago XD
