@txlastrebel For me Stevie was the best player to ever walk this planet. I idolize him, but you can´t express that kind of thoughts about a human (Clapton) because you didn´t like this version... shame!!

A lot of great covers on this song on tube, but is there a link to the "original" recording from the 40-50´s here somewhere. Had it on tape many years ago. Dont remember the artist but it has a great simple stomp and a dreamy storytelling feel to it that makes it better than the covers.
