It's sounds like some ice from far away or Somthing falling and impacting against the ice. Thus making the impact sound reverberate under the ice. bouncing off the walls of the water bed.

I live in Alaska, and the lakes have just frozen over here on the Southcentral penninsula. We have been hearing these erie noises for about one week and I plan on documenting them with more detail with a series of microphones. The size and depth of the lakes seem to have an effect on the sounds they make. Our lake makes much lower tones and seems to howl more at night. Very strange indeed, I will send you the results as soon as I can
