Ain't gonna lie, this is the best stuff. I could eat it every day. This katsu recipe kicks every other katsu I have ever eaten's ass. I asked Scott, one or two thumbs? He licked this thumb and said, "uh THREE THUMBS!!!!" hahahahaha

  • thanks so much i been trying to get this style of chicken 4 ages there is a place here in australia called hanaichi that sells this jap curry n i have got the sause good just not the chicken n now i do thank u very helpfull

  • @otakixus2 a good sauce for katsu is usually bulldog sauce! very tasty maybe you know it already ;)

  • @MysticLight174 It is so hard to say--I use a TON of recipe books as well as a ton of online searches for recipes. I think this is one of those books you can buy at the local Costco (if you are from Hawaii)... local people wrote the book

  • ok so i see here and elsewhere that real katsu is a cutlet and then sliced up... but i can cheat by making chicken fingers and then frying, right? it will taste like your chicken katsu, but it won't look like it...

  • i changed my mind. i am making this today hehe. i'm gonna use white meat and cut it into smaller strips so it cooks through. so psycccched!

  • PS - what kind of rice do you always serve with your meals? it looks shorter grain and stickier than what i use [uncle bens long grain]

  • this winter, i vow to make as many of your fave/asian/hawaiian recipes as possible. i think i will make this one next weekend, as i just had oven baked/panko thighs last week, but now i am gonna go pick out a recipe of yours to make today :)
