A clip from the special show that Monty Python team recorded for the Golden Rose of Montreux in 1971. This show consisted of clips from the first two series of Monty Python's Flying Circus and also new material and re-recorded sketches.
This clip has the familiar Semaphore Version Of Wuthering Heights and The Exploding Version Of The Blue Danube but with a completely new introduction from John Cleese and a new 'sign-off' at the end of the sketches.
The show was originally broadcast on BBC1 on 16th April 1971.
