The Crucial System Scanner is a small application that you download and run to find out what Crucial memory upgrades are compatible with your particular computer. There's nothing to actually install, simply run this small utility which will load a web page with the results. When you are finished, simply delete the System Scanner file from your computer.

  • works with win 7 32 bit w/ internet explorer 8...i need 64 bit

  • OMFG XP

  • Can't get it to work, using windows 7 64 bit and the newest firefox

  • works great with 32 bit on google chrome..

i like this lil scan thing.. it lets me know how much ram is on my pc and more..

  • Does not work on Vista Ultimate 32-bit with Firefox 3.6

  • wadsas

  • Alternatively, you can just press 'Run' instead of saving it on desktop (then being told to delete it as shown in the video). I've also used this to help me upgrade the RAM on an old computer and it's worked with no problems - however I'm on Windows XP 32 bit and not Vista/64 bit :/

  • It's probably only 32 bit, they need to develop a 64 bit version

  • The scanner doesn't work on Windows 64 bit (XP or Vista)
