the original song was probably just played in standard, the song was dubbed with multiple tracks so really it's not meant to be played fully with one guitarist...but whatever gets the job done, it is a "cover" after all, not a replication

Smart move using drop d. I was playing in standard with power chords and the E maj for the last chord. But of course that requires faster neck sliding than drop d.

Its a tricky thing when u tune ur guitar to Drop D coz u gotta get the right tuning or else its gonna sound a bit wierd and no not unique ^^ but tht was reli good keep it up...gonna try nd play it and send u a vid but no promises :p,
