@lucaspepa In classes like these, there are classes that are specifically lectures as well as classes that are specifically recitations. In the lectures, the focus is to present the content and derive essential equations. In the recitations, that's where you get to ask questions and work on problem solving, etc.

At 37:00, he talks about E vector in arbitrary direction, instead of just x. However, a simple rotation of the coordinates will bring it in x direction, so the 3 D solution is nothing special -- the same ideas about 2 d can be applied.. or am I missing something here? Some clarification would be appreciated.
