New install drain issues.avi

Problems with drain on new install....turns out condensate pump in basement has no air gap... rework drain again to have cleanout and standpipe. How many times can you go back in a weekend??? ugh!!!

Those condensate drain can be fun! You are so right about p-traps!!

@dizziedallas running traps are marginal at best... P trap and stand pipe should be minimum install requirements.... cleanouts are a cheap add on. I had to rework another drain yesterday. I'd think it'd be cheaper to do it right the first time.

How can so many things be wrong with one install...??? Please make sure that negative pressure systems have a 2" trap and a stand pipe so this doesn't happen to you.
