Stretching is an important part of preventing and healing plantar fasciitis. In addition to icing, resting, ibuprofen, accupunture, reflexology and orthodic inserts (both custom and Superfeet, which really helped me), daily stretching can help you heal your aching heel. Seeing a foot and ankle doc made all the difference in the world, so don't delay!

Good demo, STRETCHING IS KEY- do daily CALF & ACHILLES stretches BEFORE any problems arise- I learned the hard way but have finally got a handle on the plantar fasciitis situation after suffering for many years, condition switching from one foot to other, numerous cortisone shots, icing, p.t., custom orthotics, aspirin just to sleep is NO fun. Now I have the awareness to feel when the tightness is building & my body is trying to tell me to S-T-R-E-T-C-H under control 9 yrs now...thx for posting!
