Alongside The Beatles, The Searchers formed in the late 1950s, performing in and around their hometown of Liverpool, England. The Searchers achieved success in the 1960s with numerous hits including 'Needles And Pins' and 'Love Potion Number 9.' Rumours have suggested they influenced the 12-string jangle guitar sound of The Byrds.

Singer Mike Pender played 12-string and 6-string rythm guitar for The Searchers until he left the band to form a lineup of his own. His new band is known as Mike Pender's Searchers, showcasing Pender's new solo material and all the essential hits and fan favourites from his decades in The Searchers.

Mike Pender's Searchers continue to record music and tour, playing shows in Australia, U.S.A., Holland, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, The United Arab Emirates and throughout Britain.

The voice of Mike Pender can be heard on many of The Searchers' songs, including 'Needles And Pins,' 'Love Potion Number 9,' 'When You Walk In The Room,' 'Take Me for What I'm Worth,' 'Take It Or Leave It,' 'Goodbye My Love,' 'What Have They Done To The Rain,' 'Sweets For My Sweet' and 'Hearts In Her Eyes,' a 70s song written by John Wicks and Will Birch from London-based power pop band The Records.

Live the ultimate 60s British Invasion rock experience and try to attend the concert if Mike Pender's Searchers perform in a town or city near you!

..... I went to see Mike Pender's Searchers last night and they were excellent! As well as all The Seachers old songs, amongst others they did, were Roy Orbison's You Got It, also a good version of My Girl... PJ Proby's Hold Me and they finished with an encore of Summer of 69 which was really popular with the audience and a song I like and Mike and his band do it so well.... :o))

You can pick out the drummers, Steve Carlisle's, backing vocals really clearly - he's a great singer alone!
