  • Fantastic

  • AWESOME !!!! We'Re gonna' miss them. I do Already. HEMI-Joe 07-21-11

  • @bcgrote If it does, it won't be audible from any habitable locations since they'll splash down out in the Pacific Ocean.

  • I'm gonna miss that sound... Sigh. The best Ba-boom EVAR was when I worked at Rocketdyne just over the hill from you. The pride knowing OUR engines had put that "Flying Brick" into space... Wow.

I wonder if Space-X's Dragon will make that same sound?

  • Ya it landed at edwards AFB that day, I was there refueling( I am a B-1 Pilot) and it landed on the runway next to us, when it re-entered it messed up a few of our anti stall systems because the sudden increase than decrease of pressure from the boom threw it off.

  • @hellapnoy

it's pretty cool. loud as hell. i lived in orlando as a kid and remember hearing it. we could also see the launch from orlando too. i watched the challenger from the playground at school when i was in the second grade. that was an interesting/terrible day...

  • would love to hear it one day in real life, it's sad they are scrubbing the program without a nice replacement.

thanks for filming this, love your neighbours reaction
