Kraylen's Lab - How to Propagate a Chalice Coral Cheap and Simple.

In this video, I will show you how to frag a chalice without having an expensive inland band saw or other tile saws.

Here's what you need: Bone cutters, nail clippers or angled pliers... super glue... frag plugs... 200g + wet/dry sandpaper... razor blades... window scraper to hold razor blades... hammer... and music...

Always try to have at least one eye/mouth per frag... Some people say you can frag eyeless parts of the chalice and grow new ones but I've never tried it myself.

Update.. I got a inland bandsaw, but I still split my chalice with a razor :)

@kraylen my chalice frags are doing great! A month later, most are fully healed. One is already growing off two sides of the frag tile. Love it.

I would have preferred to hear the hip-hop, but its all good. I've done the same thing with an acan echinata. Although i put an old t-shirt over it because i knew i was gonna shatter the razor-blade.
