His music still carries vary similar themes as NIN did. Check out "Believers", he goes hard on organized religion.

i feel sorry for the fact that trent cant simply enjoy a collaboration with his wife without his so-called fans supercharging it with drama. personally i don't like anything he's done since downward spiral as much as I liked that, but I was also throbbing with hormones when that album was released. he's grown musically and that's to be respected. who he chooses to make music with should also be respected.

I'm a huge NIN fanboy, but I also know these are real people. It pains me to think there will never be another NIN album, but so be it. I agree with Trent about getting over the past. I'm sure he was much shittier place personally and had a lot more pain and frustration to transfer into some amazing creative catharsis, but at some point, you have to realize you are a big fucking rockstar and life doesn't suck. He's still making good music. He just won an Oscar for fucksake.
