Rupert Holmes based pop video by me and fellow students at Loughborough College Of Art in 1980. Stars Jerry/ Jeremy Hall, Louise/ Lou Toon, Pete Fisher Godwin, St John Walker, Kev Sutherland and others. Locations: Loughborough Uni Campus and Jerry's parent's house in Farm Town, Ashby, Leicestershire.
A wonderful video ... great lyrics ... Rupert Holmes is a genius but you can't get hold of this as a download and albums with this track on are stupidly expensive. Memories of being a DJ at 'The Sound Barrier' in Goldsmiths Avenue in Fratton, Portsmouth. This was played right at the end to get rid of the punters at 2 o'clock in the morning ... didn't work, they just stayed to hear the "that was my mother's name" bit at the end. Magic!!

Spot the connection between this recording and The Shadows' "36-24-36".
